"One Developer, One Moon Base, One Very Bad Day." Solo Developer Thunderfox Studio has released Moonbase Lambda on Steam; a brand new indie horror game set on the moon.
Moonbase Lambda is said to be a "nightmarish" game of hide-and-seek, and proves that in space no one can hear you scream.
The game sells for $4.99, and can be downloaded via the Steam Page.
Here is the overview, gameplay trailer, and screenshot gallery as provided to us by the developer.
About:
Players wake up in humanity's worst-designed lunar facility, where every corridor looks different thanks to procedural generation, and something nasty is playing a deadly game of tag. Armed with whatever isn't bolted down and a dwindling oxygen supply, survivors must find their way out before becoming the station's next missing person report.
Key Game Features:
- Never the same nightmare twice: Each run presents a unique layout, ensuring fresh terrors with every attempt
- Old-school creepy: Dithered visuals that'll make your retro-loving heart skip a beat
- Up close and personal: First-person perspective puts players directly in the midst of the terror
- Choose your fate: Multiple escape routes (some slightly less deadly than others)
