ConcernedApe has released Stardew Valley Patch 1.6.15.1; an update that fixes multiple issues across the console versions of the game.
The patch was released on PlayStation and Xbox consoles earlier this month, with the Nintendo Switch version receiving the update today.
Previously the console version of 1.6.9 back in November of 2024, and with it came hundreds of changes across the game; including major new content additions and features. (You can learn more about this via the official change log.) However, the console release was not without issues, with many players experiencing crashes throughout the entire game. In some cases this made the game a "risk" to play, as players never knew when a crash would cause them to lose their progress.
After today this should no longer be an issue however, so players are free to jump in and keep enjoying their favorite farming simulator like they used to.
For those who want a complete break down of what has been fixed, ConcernedApe has once again provided us with a change log detailing just that.
