Team Asobi has announced via the PlayStation Blog that a new free update for Astro Bot will be released on December 12th, 2024.
The update will introduce a brand new winter themed level, with more secrets for players to discover. While information about the update was kept to a minimal, they did state that players must complete the main story before they will have access to this new special area.
When discussing the update Team Asobi went on to say: "This winter update was made with every user in mind, meaning it is a celebration enjoyable for children and adults alike. So, no hair-pulling challenge this time! :) We had a lot of fun making this special present for you all, and we hope you enjoy it very much, too."
Astro Bot itself originally released on September 6th of 2024, and quickly became a fan favorite. It is currently a PlayStation 5 exclusive, and pays homage to nearly the entirety of PlayStation's 30 year history.
