Workshop Simulator VR comes to Meta Quest on November 21st

Workshop Simulator VR

From the creators of Bartender VR Simulator and Zombie Bar Simulator, Workshop Simulator VR launches on Meta Quest this Thursday, November 21st.

Previously released as a "flat-screen" version, Workshop Simulator VR is a remake that brings a much more realistic experience as they are pulled into the world, and have complete control over their body.

Here is what the developers had to say.

About:

Workshop Simulator VR is a completely fresh take on the previously released flat-screen game of the same name, which earned a loyal following worldwide. However, VR Factory Games didn’t settle for a simple adaptation. Instead, they rebuilt the game from the ground up to fully leverage the potential of virtual reality. With a redesigned workshop layout, improved user interface, advanced mechanics, and much more, Workshop Simulator VR offers players not only a realistic experience but also a highly relaxing and engaging gameplay journey.

Built for VR – Quest 3 at the Center

Workshop Simulator VR is designed to make the most of Oculus Quest devices, particularly the latest Quest 3 and Quest 3s models. Featuring optimized graphics, spatial audio, and advanced haptic feedback, the game delivers a hyper-realistic experience that lets players virtually feel the tools in their hands and the textures of the objects they restore.

What is Workshop Simulator VR?

Workshop Simulator VR is a simulation game where players step into the role of a workshop owner equipped with a variety of specialized tools. The goal is to restore items, take on increasingly complex tasks, earn money, build a reputation, expand the workshop, and manage resources. The game offers a wide range of activities, from precise disassembly and assembly to cleaning and creatively transforming restored objects.

Gameplay Mechanics
  • Disassemble and Reassemble:  Players use manual and mechanical tools like screwdrivers, hammers, and specialized arms to work on intricate structures. The objective is to bring items back to their original glory.
  • Cleaning:  Thorough cleaning is key to success. With cleaning solutions, sponges, wire brushes, grinders, or sandblasters, players carefully remove dirt and breathe new life into objects.
  • Creative Finishing:  The painting and beautifying stage allows players to unleash their creativity. Using sprays, brushes, or airbrush tools, they can design unique patterns and give restored objects a personal touch.
Key Features
  • A variety of tools and workshop techniques.
  • Diverse restoration tasks, from simple fixes to complex projects.
  • Interactive, physics-based objects for a realistic feel.
  • Workshop expansion with new tools and upgrades.
Workshop Simulator VR is more than just a workshop simulator – it’s an experience filled with precision, passion, and creativity, inviting players to immerse themselves in the art of craftsmanship.
