While this may come at no surprise, Square Enix has officially announced that Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link has been delayed until further notice.
Originally scheduled for release at the end of this year, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is the latest entry in the Kingdom Hearts series, and will be released on iOS and Android. The game mixes a combination of real time combat and in game 3D exploration, with real world AR functions. Players are able to explore the towns around themselves, take on heartless, and uncover the "missing" chapter from Kingdom Heart's history.
While details about the story are still limited, the game takes place in the distant past, sometime after Kingdom Hearts Unchained X and Dark Road, and will have connections to the upcoming Kingdom Hearts IV.
No reason was given for the delay, but here is the official statement via X:
While preparing for the launch of "KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link", we have made the difficult decision to delay the release. We sincerely apologize to all players who have been looking forward to the release. We appreciate your patience. Please look forward to further information.
