Steins;Gate 15th Anniversary Trailer

Steins;Gate 15th Anniversary

MAGES has released a short trailer in honor of the 15th Anniversary of Steins;Gate showcasing the series' history.

Originally released as a visual novel in 2009, Steins;Gate was the follow up to 2008's Chaos;Head, making it the second entry in the Science Adventure series. Since then, the series has expanded into multiple anime, novel, and manga projects, as well as visual novel sequels, prequels, alternate timelines, and more.

While the latest entry in the series Anonymous;Code released in 2013 in the West, two Steins;Gate entries are currently in the works. Steins;Gate 0 Elite is a remake of the original Steins;Gate 0 visual novel, using the Steins;Gate 0 anime's animation. Steins;???? was also previously announced, with no further information being provided at this time.

Other known on-going projects include the 4th novel within the Occultic;Nine series, which also has ties back to the greater Science Adventure series.

Although the trailer does not announce any new projects, nor does it give us status updates on the current open ones, it does end with a message stating that Steins;Gate will continue. As the overall Steins;Gate arc is quite unique within the Science Adventure series, this message could be in reference to the existing projects, or even to completely new stories that we are currently unaware of.

The trailer can be watched below, but it is important to note that it does contain spoilers for the series.

For more about the video, Crunchyroll has also shared the news, with their full article being readable here.
