It has been a long time coming, but ConcernedApe has finally announced the release date for Stardew Valley Version 1.6 for consoles!
The update will release on November 4th of 2024, and will be version 1.6.9.
As stated by ConcernedApe over at the Official Stardew Valley website:

The console and mobile ports of the 1.6 update will be released on November 4th, 2024.
Thank you for your patience.
The console and mobile ports will release at version 1.6.9, which will also come to PC around that time.
I’m looking forward to having 1.6 fully released on all platforms. Then I would like to finish Haunted Chocolatier next. Thank you

Version 1.6 for Stardew Valley was a major free update which was previously released on PC back in March of 2024. The update added in loads of new content. In fact, it changed so much that ConcernedApe published a "mostly complete" change log to let us know what was new. From new sprites, to added NPC dialogue, new story content, new events, and a wide variety of other changes, the update contained everything fans could imagine, plus more.
Since the release of the PC version, console and mobile players have been asking when the update would finally make it their way, and now we have an answer.
