Publisher 663 Games and Developer Shadowlight Sanctuary have announced a new demo for the upcoming dark narrative detective RPG Kill the Shadow will be released as part of Steam Next Fest.
Kill the Shadow follows the story of a detective named Lucas who must investigate a series of strange murders that have been taking place across the city. Using a wide variety of detective abilities, players must trace the clues, and figure out what is going on.
Along with more "standard" investigation methods, Lucas has the ability to see into the past thanks to the strange "shadow" that has attached itself to him. By looking into the past, Lucas can see what lead up to each murder, and reconstruct the traces left behind by the deceased.
The new demo introduces a storyline in the Zhulong Walled City, and contains roughly 30 minutes of gameplay, and a new flashback opening scene that is set ten years into the past. Other adjustments were made to the previous demo as well for better optimization, higher quality audio, and refined dialogue.
Steam Next Fest will run from October 14th to the 21st. The demo for Kill the Shadow can be downloaded here.About:
