Falcom has announced a 3D remake of Trails in the Sky FC for Nintendo Switch. Titled Trails in the Sky the 1st, the game uses the newer engine and gameplay style from the recent Trails through Daybreak series, the game retells the events of the first entry in the long running Trails Series, and is set to release in 2025.
The game is currently only confirmed for Nintendo Switch, and will be a full remake of the original Trails in the Sky FC. The entire world, including the towns, characters, enemies, and other locations have been fully rebuilt from the ground up. Battles will seamlessly transition from the field into turn based combat, and then back to the field without the use of loading screens. The script and story will also be faithful to the original release.
