Along with the release date announcement for Fate/stay night, the follow up titled Fate/hollow ataraxia was officially announced for a western release!
Hollow ataraxia is a unique game in the series, which serves as both a follow up to the original stay night, while also being more along the lines of a "fan-disc" of sorts. The events of the game take place after the original story, but it puts characters in unique situations as they experience a repeated time loop.
A mixture of new and old faces appear throughout the story, and quite a few new themes and ideas are established by the title. This is also where the "Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya" got it's start, which began as a manga and later got adapted into an anime.
Previously hollow ataraxia was released as an adult visual novel, as was the original stay night, but the new remastered version will not include such content.
While a release date was not given for the title, Type-Moon did release a mini teaser to hold us over for the time being.
