The Detective-Horror game Nowhere now has a demo version available for PC!
Indie developer Midnight Forge has announced that the demo can now be downloaded via Steam, and is roughly 20 to 30 minutes long.

Solo indie developer, Midnight Forge is today pleased to announce that the demo for its upcoming detective horror game Nowhere is now available to download via Steam.
Nowhere is a hardcore-detective-horror game, which mixes immersive investigative gameplay and survival horror with a highly-atmospheric Nordic setting.
Deep within the picturesque forests of Norway, a detective searches for a group of missing tourists. The case soon takes a supernatural twist; plunging them headfirst into a unique and terrifying spin on Norse mythology, as they piece together the doomed tale of the gods after Ragnarök.
The demo features roughly 20-30 minutes of gameplay, offering just a glimpse of what will be available in the full game. Budding detectives will investigate multiple sites of interest as they begin to piece together the mysterious disappearance of the missing tourists, uncovering the secrets of an ancient and chilling ritual - while avoiding the horrors that lurk in their periphery.Nowhere Features

Description
Nowhere features a non-linear progression system in a fully explorable open world environment. You can take your time visiting each location to investigate any scenes of interest and search for clues or any remains of the missing tourists, as well as coming back to a location later If you discovered a new piece of information somewhere else that's relevant or you found a way to gain access to an area you couldn't get to before. The game won't hold your hand in terms of making sure you get everything right before you can continue, you are able to fully pass or fail on your own deductions and you won't be stuck or blocked until you get the correct answer.
The game revolves around Nordic mythology and what happened to these Gods after Ragnarök and how the rise of Christianity impacted them and their worship.
Nowhere features the mixing styles of detective gameplay and survival horror, It's going to appeal to people who love a good mystery and also love to be scared, wandering through these haunting atmospheres, feeling something watching them at every turn while the tension builds and builds until the world turns into a nightmare and its fight or flight.

Midnight Forge is a UK indie game studio. Prior to Nowhere, we worked on similar titles such as: Dark Fracture, Pneumata and Harvest Hunt.
