The mobile game Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is officially shutting down on November 28th, but will be replaced by a paid offline version. The offline version will continue your save file, but will not feature the social aspects of the game.

As announced on the official website, players that link their Pocket Camp account to their Nintendo Account will be able to transfer their progress over to the new paid version of the game, but not everything will be the same.

Leaf Tickets, the premium currency in Pocket Camp, will no longer be used in this new version of the game, so players will need to redeem them if they don't want to use them. Leaf Tickets allowed you to get special items via the fortune cookie gacha mechanic, as well as out right buy special items in the seasonal and event shops. While the new version will let you purchase the same items using in game Bells, you can gain easier access to them by using your current stock of Leaf Tickets.

The other difference will be the removal of multiplayer. Other players will no longer be appearing in your version of the game, nor will you be able to trade with them or visit their camp sites. Market board is gone, picture sharing and liking is gone, and you will no longer have to request friend's help to dig.

Services that were offered via paid subscriptions will also now be free, including the ability to let your favorite animals follow you around the camp sites, and gather items for you each day. These subscriptions will be active up until the game's termination, but will not be required for the paid version.

Currently Nintendo has not announced a price for the paid app, but stated an announcement would be coming in October before the game ends service.
