Monster Hunter Stories is now officially out on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 (playable on PlayStation 5), and PC! Originally, Monster Hunter Stories released as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive back in 2017 (English release), and was later ported to mobile the following year. The 3DS version received updates during it's life cycle, but the game remained as a handheld/mobile exclusive. The game also went on to receive an anime adaptation that ran for 75 episodes.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin released in 2021 as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, and was a follow up to the original featuring a new story with new characters, new locations, and new features.
With the release of "Monster Hunter Stories Collection," both games have now been released on PlayStation and PC, while the first Monster Hunter Stories now joins it's sequel on the Switch as well. Both games can either be bought as a part of the collection, or can be purchased individually.
Monster Hunter Stories can be purchased for $29.99, while Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is $39.99. Both games can be bought as a part of the collection for $59.99.

Story:
