Konami has officially announced the release date for the upcoming Silent Hill 2, and has released multiple trailers covering what's new in this remake!
The game will be released on October 8th 2024, and will be available on the PlayStation 5 as well as on PC. It will feature a modern over the shoulder 3D camera, with a modern control scheme, and will feature a high detailed world making full use of this generation's capabilities; including 3D sound and ray tracing.
While being a faithful remake of the original, this reimagining will also include new content, as well as new areas to explore within it's expanded game world, and has an updated combat system to help bring the game to the modern age.
Despite the release date being 10/8/2024, preordering the digital deluxe edition will grant you 48 hour early access, and allow you to play the game on 10/6/2024.
