Yesterday 343 announced a little more information over at Halo Waypoint for Halo Reach PC. Since it's announcement many fans have had a lot of questions, and now everything is coming to light.
If you're thinking about getting the PC version, here's a chart provided by 343 that should tell you everything you need to know about running the game:
As you can see, the minimum requirements for Halo Reach will not be too demanding, and even older gaming PCs should be able to run it no problem. This isn't too surprising considering it's an older game, but that doesn't make bringing it to PC any less challenging. Things still needed to be optimized, and touched up.
If you're still unsure if your PC will be able to handle this game though, there's an easy way to check before you buy.
Systemrequirementlabs is a website dedicated to testing your PC to see what it can actually handle. By searching any game you're interested in you can do a quick and easy scan to see if your PC is up to speed or not. It'll then tell you why it is your PC passes or doesn't pass, and tell you what you'd need to fix it. With that being said a Halo Reach page is already up so you can already run the test to see. Later on this page will be updated when the recommended specs are released, but for now it'll let you know if you can play it or not.
