In other, non scary, news -- Destiny 2 has officially released today on PC! This one has been a long time coming, and many PC players have been looking forward to the day that Destiny would be available to them. Sadly the original Destiny remained a console exclusive, but thankfully it isn't required to understand what is going on in Destiny 2. In fact, the original Destiny's story was mostly seen in the DLC released after the main game, and Destiny 2 does provide newcomers with the information needed to have a general idea of what is going on. Of course even if the story doesn't interest you though, the game still has solid gameplay, and it's made even better with the use of a mouse and keyboard.
That being said, if you're a shooter fan who also enjoys loot drop MMO style games, then Destiny 2 might be worth checking out. In it's current state the post game content is a bit lacking, but considering this is something you'll be playing for years to come, that shouldn't be a deal breaker. Even then there is plenty of PvP action to keep you busy as you wait for the new raids and what not.
