Confirmed today at the conference, 343 Industries will release Halo: The Master Chief Collection in October. Containing Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4, 343 promises all four games running in their engines at 1080p, 60 frames, with achievements running up to a total of 4,000 Gamerscore.
Several Halo 2 maps will be retouched to make full use of the Xbox One graphical capabilities, including classic Halo 2 map Ascension. As well, Halo 2's multiplayer will be fully realized from the way it was back then. They promise 120 Halo maps in total, meaning that every single map from the previous Halo games will be present. As well, many classic playlists will be present.
All in all, it's shaping up to be very pretty.
