Hello there readers! Welcome to another edition of Kickstarter news.
La-Mulana 2 is a sequel for the critically acclaimed La-Mulana. It is a Indie game which was developed by NIGORO. Since I haven't played the first game yet (shame on me), I will let NIGORO themselves explain the game for you, directly quoting from their kickstarter page:
"La-Mulana, the ‘Archeology Adventure’ game, was originally made in 2006 as a hobby project by the members of what is now NIGORO. The game was then remade in 2011 and released on WiiWare. It was subsequently ported to PC. Thanks to our fans, it was greenlit on Steam, making it one of the first Japanese games to successfully make it through the Steam Greenlight system.
While the game received a metascore of 87, we felt it was a shame the remake did not offer anything new to seasoned players of the original game. We heard comments from gamers saying “I wish I could develop amnesia and enjoy it for the first time all over again!” more than once. That’s why we decided it was time to revisit La-Mulana and create a new game.
In La-Mulana 2, you will take on the role of Lumisa Kosugi on a mission to find the entrance to the ruins of Eg-Lana, which is rumored to be the source of recent monster appearances. The ruins themselves are compromised of a variety of areas as well as huge boss creatures known as Guardians. Who knows what lies in wait at the end of Eg-Lana?"

To be fair readers, I have bought the game and will soon start playing it; however, I can already say that the La-Mulana series is a very interesting and unique take on 2D platforming as a whole. It would be a shame if the sequel didn't get the chance to see the light of day. Here is the kickstarter video:
The least amount of money you need to pledge to get the game is 15$, I personally pledged 35$, just because I wanted the soundtrack with the game (the first games soundtrack was awesome). For the game to be kickstarted it needs at least 200'000$, right at this moment as I am writing this its: 171'469, and has 14 days to go. If you are a 2D platformer fan, then I urge you readers to check out La-Mulana! You can find it in Steam (or any other PC indie game store), and WiiWare. Lastly here is a message from the creator for all of you readers who pledge some money:

That is all from me readers! Have a awesome day!
