After a few month wait, Sony has finally added PlayStation Live to it's Playstation App. By using this new feature, gamers are able to watch any of the current live streams on the PlayStation 4. Now sure, this could be done using the Twitch and UStream apps as well, but this new feature groups all live streams together in one convenient place. It is a fast and easy way to see what the PlayStation community is doing, and you can make use of it anywhere.
On top of that, Sony also made a few minor changes to the app as well. The app will no longer Auto Connect to PlayStation 4s that are set to standby mode, and videos from the PS Store are now supported. The app also received some stability updates.
If you haven't already, you can download the PlayStation App from either the App Store, or Google Play.
