Well, you remember about Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, coming to the 3DS in October, being the sixth generation installment to the Pokemon series by Game Freak, right? Well, during today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo decided to reveal a few more details about it. I will go one by one, along with the video, on this one.
First of all, four new Pokemon were revealed - Pancham, Helioptile, Vivillon, and Noivern. According to Serebii, the Pokemon Vivillon will apparently evolve from a Pokemon called Spewpa, which, at the moment, has no further details regarding it.
Second of all, do you remember that a few months ago, a new Eevee evolution was revealed, but had an unknown type? Well, its type has finally been revealed. It was revealed to be an all new type - a Fairy type, which will be super-effective against Dragon-types. And Sylveon isn't the only one revealed to be getting this type: From now on, Gardevoir is Psychic/Fairy, Marill is Water/Fairy, and Jigglypuff is Normal/Fairy. Needless to say, Sylveon is Fairy.
The third is a whole new feature to the games, called Pokemon-amie, which will let the player interact with Pokemon in different ways, including patting, feeding, and even playing with the Pokemon by immitating their moves in order to bond with them. Something like Nintendogs but with Pokemon.
And last but not least, the release date for both games was finally revealed! According to the E3's Nintendo Direct, both games are to be released worldwide at October 12th, 2013. I already pre-ordered it. What do you think about it?
I'd like to thank Serebii for the info regarding Vivillon's pre-evolution.
